EASTERN WASHINGTON DESERVES A FIGHTER
NOT ANOTHER POLITICIAN SERVING RICH PARTY BOSSES

 

I’m running as an Independent for Congress in Washington’s 5th District because I’m done watching career politicians destroy what we’ve built while enriching themselves.

To create an economy where everyone can succeed, we have to break down the laws that have robbed the American people of their wealth. Here is my hit list:

  • Ban Corporate Money in Politics & Eliminate Citizens United
  • Ban Stock Buybacks – Returning to pre-1982 Regulations
  • Ban Borrowing from Social Security, Eliminate the Cap & Pay Back the Program
  • Eliminate Indulgent Tax Loopholes & Deductions for Corps & Billionaire Class
  • Increase Consumer Protection Standards
  • Trust-Bust Monopolies
  • Raise the Minimum Wage & US Standard of Living
  • Pass the PRO Act & PAWA – Reinforcing Collective Bargaining Power
  • FICA Honeymoon for Micro Businesses
  • Universal Healthcare
  • Expand Public Schooling to Include Pre-K
  • Expand Education Funding on Every Level
  • Eliminate Student Loan Interest, Create Pathways to Loan Forgiveness Reimburse Accrued Interest with Tax or Loan Credits
  • Pass “Direct File” for IRS Returns
  • Raise Disability & Social Security Payments to a Living Wage
  • Lower Cap on Revolving Credit Interest Rates
  • Prioritize Agricultural  Subsidies on Small Farms & Sustainable Farming
  • Investment in Green & Blue Ammonia Fertilizer – Regionalize Market

Corporate politicians have not just allowed this to happen, they crafted it. This is a watershed moment for our country. It’s time to return government and our futures to the people with true representation. Let’s get to work!

Hi! I’m Ann Marie Danimus. I’m a Washingtonian with a deep dedication to our way of life. I’ve lived in Spokane for nearly 40 years. I’m a small business consultant, author & keynote speaker who’s spent decades volunteering with local nonprofits. I’m also a double organ transplant survivor. Our for-profit healthcare system nearly destroyed me financially, forcing me to rebuild my life from scratch.

If you’re like me, you’re FED UP watching ALL politicians fail us

MAGA Republicans like our incumbent, gut healthcare for rural families and force hospitals and clinics to close. They take fat checks from corporate PACs while our small businesses go under.

I’m running as an Independent for Congress in Washington’s 5th District because I’m done watching career politicians destroy what we’ve built while enriching themselves. Both parties are failing Eastern Washington. The cost of groceries, gas, housing, and healthcare keeps rising while politicians serve their donors instead of us. It’s time to Make America Affordable Again. Lots of candidates can point to problems. I am the only one who knows what it takes to solve them. I will be your watchdog in DC to eliminate corporate interest from bills that should benefit YOU!

I am the ONLY person in this race that has pledged no PAC money at all. Only People.

That’s why I created the NOPE pledge: Not One Penny Ever of corporate money. I’ll never be bought.  My only job will be fighting for you. This is bigger than one Congressional seat. It’s the return to a government  “for the people”.
